ECHO-Tourism involves several kinds of stakeholders… and you could become one of them !

Multipliers / Tourists / Participants

These terms include all adults who have been trained in the practice of eco-gestures and who have experienced the device at different levels. It mainly refers to tourists but includes more generally, all the participants in the process.

The “local experts” – Local referents

They are responsible for promoting the system on the territory, particularly by :

putting the ambassadors through partner structures of the project,
transmitting to partners all the necessary information to enable them to target more easily the expectations of tourism professionals,
promoting the device and the approach of professionals to multipliers,
and ultimately, by carrying themselves awareness-raising measures.

Depending on the region, there could be different types of partnerships or participant profiles. For example, the local expert can be :

the head of a public or private training organisation,
an employment agency,
an establishment manager wishing to offer this service to its regional partners, employees or customers …

The objective here is not to reach a specific socio-professional category, but to address an adult audience likely to be trained, privately or professionally.

The ambassadors

They promote the device and sustainable practices to tourists, to their customers, or other business contact. They have experienced it on a personal and / or professional basis, mastering the tools and are now able to directly or indirectly transcribe the contents of the training to the tourists.
This involves, for example, the reproduction of observed practices and / or the establishment of a specific management approach as part of their professional activities.
